Join us on Thanksgiving weekend, 2017, at the 35th annual Alaska-Juneau Public Market, a three-day holiday retail event that has become one a beloved Juneau tradition. In addition to well over 150 vendors from every corner of Alaska we have vendors from Canada and the Pacific Northwest.
The goal of the festival is to foster greater food self-sufficiency by bringing together consumers, growers, and producers of local foods with the intent of encouraging local sustainability through backyard gardening and small business initiatives. The market also offers a place for non-profits to raise money through sales of produce or baked goods containing locally grown or harvested ingredients.
Marms & Meeks joins Juneau's own Amalga Distillery for a one-weekend-only gallery installment Friday, August 4, to Sunday, August 6. With new designs released at the opening and scrumptious cocktails on the menu, it's a wonderful opportunity to peruse local art and sip something delicious.
